bermuda-cruiseI can recall my Bermuda cruise as an experience of lifetime. I was touring with my family and started our journey from Philadelphia. The cruise line was Royal International and the ship was Empress of the Seas. Among all the other cruises that we have been part of so far, I found the Bermuda cruise to be most engaging and entertaining. Bermuda cruise is not just perfect for the regular cruise enthusiasts, but also for the first timers.

Description of the Ship
Empress of the Seas was a small ship but it actually worked in the favor of our Bermuda cruise. The ship got easily docked at the harbors of Hamilton and St. George. I must say that these ports are better than the renowned port of Royal Dockyard. There were few people in the group who got problems with walking and hence the size of the ship was actually good for them. The cabins of the ship were neat and clean. However, the size of the cabins was bit small but we didn’t bother as we used the rooms only for changing, bathing and sleeping. Rest of the time we were quite happy to stay out of the cabins and enjoy all the happenings of our Bermuda cruise. Everything was fine but sometimes sailing was a bit bumpy. The people in the group got minor nauseous but they recovered soon. However, when we sailed back to our destination, it was quite smooth. During the entire trip, we enjoyed the bliss of excellent whether.

Entertainment on the Cruise
Empress of the Seas offered some amazing entertainment throughout our excursion on Bermuda cruise. There were numerous shows and I particularly enjoyed the show on the third night on the cruise. Also, there were some funny and hilarious acts by Tyson, who was the assistant director of the cruise. I personally liked being at the piano bar every night. Even the food was excellent. The Carmen Dining room and Windjammer was both good. We ate in both places of the ship.

Bermuda
The weather of Bermuda was terrific and we were lucky to enjoy every bit of it. The Hamilton festival is one of the major highlights that take place on every Wednesday. An evening tour was also organized and that was fantastic too. People in Bermuda are nice and the ambience is very colorful. Bermuda cruise is also good for diverse shore excursions. There are options for jet skiing, snorkeling, self guided tours on scooters, etc. The beaches and the life o coral reefs along with varied fishes are just awesome.

After our Bermuda cruise travel on Empress of the Seas, we got to know that the size of the ship is not everything. Even a small ship like the Empress of the Seas can provide huge entertainment and excellent service. This cruise is just perfect if you are making a family cruise. Right from boarding on the ship to landing on your destination, everything that we got in our Bermuda cruise was awesome.
